Big Bear Lake, Ca, January 4, 2011, 3:00pm – At approximately 4 a.m. this morning, the Big Bear Lake Fire Protection District responded to a report of a residential structure fire in the 500 block of Saint Anton Court in the City of Big Bear Lake. Fire damage was mainly isolated to the garage and storage area, however the interior of the home did suffer mild to moderate smoke and water damage. Fire fighters were able to stop the fire from entering the main portion of the house and perform salvage operations to prevent further harm to the residence. No one was home at the time of the incident. According to Big Bear Lake Fire Protection District, there were two minor firefighter injuries as a result of this fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
