Big Bear Lake, CA — The Board of Directors for the Bear Valley Community Healthcare District–President Dr. Chris Fagan, Brad Summers, Ron Peavy, Kathy Bauch and Dr. Michael Hartstein—convene for a special meeting this evening (June 30), with open session scheduled to begin at 6pm in the hospital cafeteria. Agenda items for the healthcare district include approval of the fiscal year 2010/2011 budget, as well as the Heritage provider network contract. The hospital board is also scheduled to discuss the hospital expansion master plan as presented by GKK Works of Riverside; the potential expansion would extend the hospital’s emergency room, built in 1974, as well as the radiology facility.
