Big Bear Lake, Ca Monday March 7, 2011 12:00 pm – Wednesday’s meeting of the City of Big Bear Lake Fire Protection District will include presentations by CALFIRE and San Bernardino County Fire on the City’s Request for Proposal for Fire Protection and Other Emergency Services. Both agencies will have time to formally present their proposals to provide fire protection and related services for the City and to answer the Fire Board’s questions. The agenda for Wednesday’s meeting also includes a presentation by Chief Rod Ballard to Fire Fuels Program Supervisor David Yegge in recognition for his receiving a State Firewise Leadership Award in 2010. The public is invited to attend the open session in Hofert Hall beginning at 9:00 am. A time for public comment is provided at the beginning of the meeting.
