Big Bear Lake, CA, January 13, 2016 – On Monday evening, the Big Bear Lake City Council received a presentation from staff regarding the continuation of a ban on medical marijuana cultivation, dispensaries, and delivery services in all zones of the City of Big Bear Lake. These include residential zones, commercial, public, open space, and Village specific zones. Following opening a Public Hearing and receiving no public comment, the Hearing was closed.
The Council also approved a Municipal Code Amendment and adoption of an Ordinance regulating Synthetic Drugs, sometimes known as Bath Salts, to Title 9 Public Peace, Morals and Welfare, Division IV Offenses Against Public Peace.
