Bear Valley Community Healthcare District Board of Directors Conduct Special Business Meeting Tonight

Big Bear, CA, May 28, 2013 – The Bear Valley Community Healthcare District will conduct a Special Board of Directors Business meeting tonight.  Agenda items include discussion of special tax levies within the hospital district, the hiring of Parcel Tax Consultants and review of the BVCHD medical staff bylaws.  Additionally, the board will set a date for a review of the 2012/2013 Strategic Plan for future discussion.  Also of interest, a report will be presented by the Interim Human Resource Manager, Harold Grayson, in light of recent hospital staff reductions.  Closed session begins at 4:30pm with the open session beginning at 6:30pm.  There will be a public forum for both the closed and open session giving the opportunity for members of the public to address the Board with a time limit of three minutes per speaker.  The meeting will be held in the hospital’s conference room located at 41870 Garstin Drive.
