BBARWA’s Governing Board to Review Federal Funding Opportunities for Four Proposed Plant Projects in Today’s 5pm Meeting

The Big Bear Area Regional Wastewater Agency Governing Board will meet this evening (April 29) at 5pm, and during presentation items, will welcome Jamie Garland, new field representative for Third District County Supervisor Neil Derry. Today’s meeting will also include discussion on funding availability through the Federal Economic Recovery Bill. BBARWA staff had earlier pursued federal funding for four plant projects and, during this Old Business agenda item, will update the Board on the status of funding; the Governing Board will then determine whether or not to move forward on the proposed projects. BBARWA meetings are held at the plant’s offices at 121 Palomino Drive in Big Bear City, and are open to the public.
