We had three earthquakes in the 11am hour today, the first of which was a 1.6 magnitude quake centered six miles northwest of Big Bear City at 11:09am. Highway 330 Re-Opened This Morning; Closure Due to Overturned Truck Carrying Limestone
Highway 330 was not re-opened until this morning (July 17), in the 6am hour, due to a single vehicle collision that took place yesterday evening below the upper passing lane. The truck-trailer was hauling limestone and, as the vehicle overturned, there was a large amount of lime spilled from the trailer and blocking all lanes.
