The Biggest Losers have been named in the second round of the Big Bear Valley Recreation and Park District’s fitness program, Big Bear’s Biggest Loser. This round included four teams and a total of 32 participants, who lost a combined total of 245 pounds in nine weeks. This weekend marks the 13th annual Victor Alvarez Memorial Race at Snow Summit, which is a pro-style giant slalom featuring a cash purse of over $3,000.
