We had a small earthquake, centered two miles north of Big Bear Lake, this morning. The 1.6 magnitude earthquake was recorded at 11:16am and, per the U.S. Geological Survey, registered a depth of over 19 miles. Two Small Earthquakes Centered Outside Big Bear Lake This Afternoon
We had two small earthquakes in our area this afternoon, per the U.S. Geological Survey. The first, a 1.6 magnitude quake at 12:05pm, was centered four miles northwest of Big Bear Lake, and registered a depth of six miles.
