Big Bear City, Ca, December 15, 2010, 12:00pm – KBHR will be turning 15 year’s old this Friday, December 17th. 15 years ago, KBHR’s own Cathy Herrick was the first voice heard on the air, and has been one of the main DJ’s ever since. KBHR will not only be celebrating its 15th anniversary this Friday, we will also be celebrating the ground breaking of the new KBHR building, and everyone is invited to attend. KBHR will be moving to 639 West Country Club, in Big Bear City. Rick Herrick, President and General Manager of KBHR, has decided that all materials, contractors, and craftsmen used in the design and construction of the new building will be local. “We understand the importance of our local economy,” said Herrick, “and how using local suppliers and builders benefits us all.” The ground breaking and 15th Anniversary celebration will be at 2:30pm on Friday December 17th.
