Arson Registrant Arrested Near Blue Cut Fire

Photo courtesy of Sean Lamb Big Bear, CA, September 6, 2016 – On Saturday, September 3, 2016, at approximately 9:23 am, the Union Pacific Railroad Police contacted a man sitting inside a parked vehicle trespassing on railroad property. The officer contacted the subject, later identified as Larry Missirilian, and discovered he was on active parole and was an arson registrant. The officer notified the sheriff’s department and Deputy Sandoval from the Central Station responded to assist. The caller is asking residents for donations to assist persons displaced by the recent Blue Cut Fire. The Sheriff’s Department has confirmed with CALFIRE that they are not soliciting for donations and encourage citizens not to give anyone personal or banking information via the telephone regarding donations. Thieves Arrested in Bluecut Fire Evacuation Area

San Bernardino, CA, August 19, 2016 – On Thursday, August 18, at 7:00 a.m. deputies responded to a call of suspicious subjects at a home located within the Bluecut Fire evacuation area. Deputies arrived and made contact with Daniel Mervine, 27, of Jurupa, Natasha Rovinsky, 27, of Diamond Bar, and Trevor Sanchez, 29, of Riverside, who were attempting to leave the residence with a flatbed truck. The suspects told deputies they were picking up property for a friend that lived at the residence. Deputies made contact with the property owner who advised that he did not give anyone permission to take his property. The three suspects were taken into custody without incident and will be booked for Looting and Grand Theft Auto.               If anyone has information related to the suspects involved, they are urged to contact Sheriff’s Central Station at (909)387-3545.
