Redlands, CA, March 21, 2013 – The 29th Annual Redlands Bicycle Classic will kick off with a Time Trial on the North Shore of Big Bear Lake on April 4. The event features a field of professional men’s, women’s, and para-cyclist racers. Casey Williams Selected For USA Mountain Bike Team!

Big Bear, Ca, August, 5, 2011, 4:25pm – 17 year old Big Bear local Casey Williams has been selected to be a part of the USA Cycling Junior Men Cross Country team for the mountain bike world championships for 2011.  Casey is one of four young men to be selected for the junior team, and joins 50 others representing the United States in mountain bike events from downhill racing, cross country racing, and four cross.  Casey has been riding bikes since he was a young child, and has won the US national championships in 2008, and was selected to go to a prestigious international mountain bike camp earlier this summer.  Casey is the oldest of six children to parents Kim and Roger, all of whom ride bikes.  Casey will travel to Champery, Switzerland from August 29th to September 4th to compete in the Mountain Bike World Championships.  KBHR wishes him luck, and congratulates him on his selection to the...

Casey Williams Returns Home From Germany

Big Bear, Ca, June 10, 2011, 1:00pm – Casey Williams, at the age of 16, just returned from Germany after being selected as one of six boys and six girls that represented America at a World Cup Mountain Bike Race.  Williams told KBHR that going to Germany was an amazing experience, and one that he learned a lot from. Williams is the oldest of six children to parents Kim and Roger who also are very athletic and active.  Kim and Roger have previously competed in adventure races together, and still ride bikes, kayak, ski, hike and bring the kids along for the fun!  Next on the list for Casey is a possible trip to New York to compete in another world cup race, then it’s off to the US National Championships in Idaho in July.  KBHR congratulates Casey Williams for being selected to go to Germany, and thanks him for representing Big Bear and the United States!
