Clay at the Cave: A One-Two Punch From the “Heavyweight of Comedy”

Big Bear Lake, CA, January 9, 2014 – Fresh off an extended engagement at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, legendary comic Andrew Dice Clay will headline two performances at the Cave this month. His local shows on January 24 and 25 will be opened by actress/comedian Eleanor Kerrigan (“Entourage,” “The Melt,” “The Naughty Show”) and closed by his sons’ band, L.A. Rocks. The 56-year-old Brooklyn native first came to prominence in 1988, performing in a Rodney Dangerfield special; he later became the only comedian to sell out Madison Square Garden two nights in a row. The self-proclaimed “Undisputed Heavyweight King of Comedy” has had another round of professional success in the past few years. In 2011, he had a recurring role on HBO’s Entourage, and on New Year’s Eve 2012, Showtime aired his first stand-up special in 17 years (“INDESTRUCTIBLE” will be rebroadcast on SHO Extreme February 3 in a telling time slot: 3:20 AM). 2013 brought not only over two dozen appearances at the Hard Rock, but a lauded role in the award-winning Woody Allen flick, Blue Jasmine, alongside Cate Blanchett, Alec Baldwin and Peter Sarsgaard. This May, Clay will release an autobiography called “The Filthy Truth.” The Cave is located at 40789 Village Drive in Big Bear Lake. Tickets can be bought in advance online.
