San Bernardino County, CA, December 7, 2016 – Organizers are excited to announce that Give BIG San Bernardino County raised $271,044 for local nonprofits, surpassing last year’s $241,217 total. The Give BIG San Bernardino County campaign is a 24-hour fundraising web-a-thon benefiting San Bernardino County nonprofit organizations. Big Bear Non-Profits Take Top Spots in GIVE BIG Campaign

Big Bear, CA, December 3, 2015 – Another great year for the San Bernardino GIVE BIG Campaign—a 24 hour online effort to raise funds for 261 non-profits serving San Bernardino County. This year’s campaign raised $251,481 with 2,931 donors. From midnight to 11:59pm on December 1, 2015, supporters of San Bernardino County nonprofits went online, connected with causes they cared about and made donations. Every donation made had a chance to receive a Golden Ticket. When a randomly selected donor was the lucky recipient of a Golden Ticket, their charity received additional prize money. In addition, the top organizations on the Leaderboard received prize money ranging from $500 to $10,000. “Women in the Arts” Celebration Will Benefit Local Students

Big Bear Lake, CA, August 29, 2013 – The Big Bear Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) was formed in 1983 to enhance the professional and personal growth of members and young women and girls in the community. On Sunday, September 8, from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m., the group will present its annual “Women in the Arts” celebration at the lakeside home of Carol and Don Bremer. The afternoon will feature nine local women authors, artists and musicians — three from each field — who will offer a panel discussion on their creative process, perform live music, and have their artwork, music and books on display and for sale. Wine, food from local eateries, and silent auction baskets will round out the program.
