Big Bear, CA, November 8, 2016 – The San Bernardino County Elections Office reminds voters that the 2016 Presidential General Election is being held today, Tuesday, November 8. Pilot Fire – Tuesday Update

Big Bear, CA, August 9, 2016 – The Pilot Fire, which started on Sunday, August 7, grew almost 2000 acres since yesterday. This morning, the fire is currently 6,298 acres with 6% containment. The Hwy. 173 closure has been extended from SR-138 to North Bay Road. Voluntary evacuations have been extended into the Lake Arrowhead area north of Peninsula Road, east of Brentwood Road, and west of North Bay Road. The Cave hosts “Vivaldi to Viva la Vida”

Big Bear Lake, CA, June 18, 2013 – MountainTop Strings is a youth orchestra from the San Bernardino Mountains under the direction of cellist Sharon Rizzo, with talented students from Crestline to Baldwin Lake. The ensemble is about to embark on a performance tour of Italy and Austria, but before they go, they’re offering a series of Bon Voyage concerts here at home. Tonight at 7:00 p.m., their show “Vivaldi to Viva la Vida” will offer an eclectic mix of music at The Cave on Village Drive. Ticket prices are $5 Students, $10 Adults and $20 VIP Balcony Box Seats.
