Redlands Bike Classic Repeats Time Trial in Big Bear

Redlands, CA – The Redlands Bicycle Classic will once again kick off the National Race Calendar, with dates just announced for April 3rd – April 6th, 2014. And for the second year, Big Bear Lake will host the high-altitude time trial. Race Director Eric Reiser said “The elevation and technical aspect of the [time trial] provided a challenge for both racers and organizers alike.” The 30th Annual Bicycle Classic will be a four-day stage race going through the tree-lined streets of Redlands and surrounding communities such as Beaumont. Pro Cyclists Time Trial In Big Bear

Big Bear Lake, CA April 4, 2013 4:00pm – The Redlands Bicycle Classic chose Big Bear this year to open their tour and kick off the season. With the help of the Big Bear Cycling Association, the time trial stage was held on Thursday beginning and ending on North Shore near the East Boat Ramp. With the rider count at around 300 it was the largest group of pro-cyclists that this event has fielded to date.
