Friends Of The Moonridge Zoo Docent Program Expands

Big Bear Lake, CA, August 15,2011, 8:00am – The Friends of the Moonridge Zoo is looking for volunteers who appreciate being around wildlife to become Docents at Big Bear’s animal park. The docent educational program is expanding and will now offer monthly one day comprehensive workshops, where you can become a docent and help support the Moonridge Animal Park. Docent’s assist and provide information to park visitors, they provide help during special events, prepare food in the animal kitchen, work at the gift shop or snack bar, or help with flower gardening or light maintenance. The first workshop will be held 10am to 5pm on Saturday August 27, 2011.  Call 909 878-4200 to reserve your space or for more details. Other scheduled one day workshops will be held in September, October, November, and December. Docents Needed At Moonridge Animal Park

Big Bear Lake, CA, May 11, 2011, noon – The Friends of the Moonridge Zoo is looking for volunteers who appreciate being around wildlife to become Docents at Big Bear’s animal park. Docent’s assist and provide information to park visitors, they provide help during special events, prepare food in the animal kitchen, work at the gift shop or snack bar, or help with flower gardening or light maintenance. The Friends of the Moonridge Zoo will start the 2nd Series of their Adult Education Program on May 12th. It will run four consecutive Thursdays 11:00 am – 1:00 pm.
