Big Bear Fun Plex Hosts Last Chamber Mixer of 2011

Big Bear, Ca, November 8, 2011, 8:00am – The Big Bear Chamber of Commerce will be holding its last mixer of the year tonight at the Big Bear Funplex.  In addition to being the last mixer of the year, its also a family mixer, which means chamber members and their immediate family’s are free to attend.  Non-members and their families may also attend at $5 per person.  The Fun Plex will be offering Lazer Tag, rides on the Himalaya roller coaster, bumper cars, and will be serving Noble Roman’s Pizza at the event.  The mixer is from 5:00- 7:00pm, at the Big Bear Fun Plex, located at 40679 Big Bear Blvd, just East of the Bowling Barn.   Don’t miss out on the last mixer of the year, as they wont start up until Spring of 2012.  For more information on Chamber mixers, or the Chamber of Commerce in general call 866...

Bear Mountain Hosts Tonight’s Chamber Mixer

Big Bear, Ca, October 25, 2011, 8:00am – Bear Mountain will host tonight’s Chamber of Commerce mixer from 5:00pm to 7:00pm in the main lodge.  According to the Chamber of Commerce, the mixer put on by Big Bear Mountain Resorts is one of the best mixers of the year, and is a must attend networking event.  As always Chamber members can attend mixers for free, and non members need only pay $5.00.  Attendees will have the chance to win some great prizes from participating member business, including a season pass from Big Bear Mountain Resorts.  For more information call the Chamber at 866-4607. Chamber of Commerce To Mix It Up With Chili & Margaritas

Big Bear, Ca, October 11, 2011, 12:00pm – The Big Bear Chamber of Commerce is hosting a “Chili and Margarita Mixer” tonight at the Masonic Lodge.  Seven member businesses have signed up so far, and will compete for the title of Best Chili Cook, and for a free entry into the International Chili Society Chili Cook Off that takes place next summer.  If the winner doesn’t want to participate in the ICS Chili Cook off, they can take away $80 instead.  Participants include: Dave Scannell, of Dave Can Do It Handyman Services, Michael Beveridge of Licensed Home Improvement, Carll Pontius of Big Bear Tutoring & Consulting, Celia Murray of Tan Yer Hide, Kim Martin from Desert Rose Studio, Nancy Holguin, a consultant with Arbonne International, and Gary Stobert from Mountain Patrol.  There are still a few spots left if you want to participate.  Chamber members are free to enter, and non-members are $20 to enter.  There will also be a professional bartender at the mixer to make margaritas.  The mixer takes place from 5:00 to 7:00pm tonight at the Masonic Lodge located on Summit Blvd, behind the Sheriff’s Station.  For more information call 866-4607.
