Big Bear, CA, December 21, 2016 – The United States Department of Agriculture and the Forest Service, together with the County of San Bernardino have prepared a Draft Environmental Impact Report/Environmental Impact Statement (EIR/EIS) for the Mitsubishi Cement Corporation South Quarry Project. Noises In The Night

Big Bear Lake, CA, January 31, 2013 – Many valley residents reported hearing lots of booming sounds during the night on January 29th and rattling of windows coming from the east. As it turns out, the military was doing a live fire exercise near 29 Palms, and the light easterly winds with our offshore flow provided just what it took to blow the sound right at us.
