Journey Tribute Band Returns to Discovery Center

Fawnskin, CA, July 12, 2013 – DSB, World’s Greatest Tribute to Journey, returns to the Big Bear Discovery Center Amphitheater on July 20 for the second installment of the 2013 Music in the Mountains summer concert series. Vocalist Juan Del Castillo captures the essence of renowned vocalist Steve Perry, and the band of world-class musicians delivers the sound of Journey in their prime. They debuted in April to a national audience on the new AXS.TV live concert channel. The Music in the Mountains series raises funds for ongoing restoration of the San Bernardino National Forest, one of the busiest in the national forest system. It is produced by the non-profit Southern California Mountains Foundation, whose event producer, Kathy Clapsaddle, points out, “DSB was recently voted by their fans as the ‘World’s Greatest Tribute to Journey,’ elevating them to new heights and reinforcing their ‘next best thing’ status.” The British Beat, Journey Decades of British Invasion will open the concert, rounding out a celebration of the 70s and 80s top classic rock bands.
