Wanted Parolee At Large

Big Bear, CA, March 27, 2015 – The Big Bear Sheriff’s Station is requesting the public’s assistance in locating 34-year-old Robert Trionfi. Trionfi is a parolee at large on Post Release Community Supervision and has an active felony warrant in the amount of $250,000 issued against him for assault with a weapon. Trionfi is known to travel between the Big Bear Valley and Lucerne Valley areas. Robert Trionfi is a Hispanic male, 5’10” tall, 200 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes. Once arrested, he will remain in jail without the possibility of bail and will be held to answer in court on the felony charge of assault. Full Closure of Highway 18 Coming Next Week

Big Bear, CA, October 3, 2014 – Caltrans announced a full road closure of SR-18 between the Big Bear Dam and Snow Valley beginning on Monday October 6 and running through Thursday October 30. The closures will take place Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. There will be no Friday closures. Caltrans needs the time for cleaning tree cut areas and removing slide material from previous weather events. Alternate routes are SR-18 to Lucerne and SR-38 to Mentone.
