Biggest Library Book Sale Ever

The Fall 2011 Book Sale at the Library promises to be bigger than ever.  Not only will books be set up inside in the meeting room, but the parking lot will have huge displays of books.  The community has been especially generous with book donations this summer, and combined with many books retired from the Library, the storage capabilities are practically bursting at the seams with books looking for avid readers. The County Libraries have changed the hours of operation and to comply with that schedule, it has become necessary to also adjust the hours for the sale.  Because the Library is now closed on Friday, the sale will be starting on a Tuesday instead of the usual Wednesday, in order to allow the same number of days. The schedule will be as follows: Tuesday, September 13, 5:30 – 7 PM  – Member Preview Night  (New Members welcome!)Open to the public:   Wednesday – 11 AM – 5 PM, Thursday – 10 AM – 6 PM, Friday – Closed,   Saturday – 9 AM – 2 PM.  The prices of the books, fiction and non-fiction, have NOT changed and remain:  Children’s books only $.25, Hardcover books $1.00, Books on tape  (per tape)    $.50, Audio tapes (per tape)$.50, Videos or DVDs  (per tape or disc) $ 2.00, CDs $1.00.
