It’s Mother’s Day for Mother Earth

Fawnskin, CA, April 18, 2014 – Arrowhead Mountain Spring Water is joining forces with Project WET to teach families how to take better care of the planet we depend on–especially our liquid assets. Project WET is the world’s leading water education organization, and visitors to the Big Bear Discovery Center Saturday will learn what happens in the water cycle, how they can make a difference to California’s water future, and more. Admission is free, and kids in grades K-12 who participate in interactive activities on water conservation, including the Upcycle Art Contest, will receive goody bags. Community organizations–the Sierra Club Big Bear Group, the Garden Club of Big Bear, Bear Valley Electric Service, Big Bear Disposal, the Big Bear Lake Department of Water and Friends of Fawnskin–will also be on site offering educational exhibits and activities showing how to better reduce, reuse and recycle for healthier and more sustainable communities.
