Youth Basketball Team Sponsorships Available

Big Bear Lake, CA, December 12, 2011, 8:00am – For the past 14 years, the Big Bear Valley Recreation and Park District has had a Youth Basketball Program designed to get your kids moving and involve them in a team sport. This year the Park District drastically reduced the entrance fee for each child to $10 (from the $60 charged last year). The reasoning behind the change was to include more children in this fun sport during tough economic times. The Park District is seeking sponsors for the teams. The cost of sponsorship is $200 per team. This sponsorship fee will purchase uniforms with your logo, cover the cost of the School District Gymnasiums and purchase basketballs. If you are unable to sponsor a full team, but simply want to help the cause, you can still make a donation to the program. Team sponsors will receive a plaque to show that they’re involved and support the youth of our community. For more info contact the Park District Office at 909-866-9700.
