A Search Warrant Leads to Four Narcotics-Related Arrests

Sugarloaf, CA, November 7, 2016 – Following investigative leads of possible narcotics sales, the Multi-Enforcement Team and Patrol Deputies of the Big Bear Sheriff’s Station served a search warrant at a residence in the 300 block of Riverside Avenue in Sugarloaf shortly before 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 2, 2016. Suspects Gary Simrak, Erica Wilson, Jericho Redhawk, and Justina Bowden were found to be inside the residence at the time the warrant was executed. Local Man Arrested, Deputies Locate Counterfeit Money in his Possession

Big Bear, CA, September 16th, 2016 – Shortly before 2:00 p.m. on September 15, 2016, LASD Parole Apprehension Team contacted the Big Bear Sheriff Station and advised of a wanted person possibly living in the Big Bear area. William Marsh was wanted for State Parole violations and had a No Bail Warrant for his arrest from the Probation Department. Missing Hiker Gary Grine Found!

Big Bear, CA, August 13th, 2016 – UPDATE – MISSING HIKER GARY GRINE LOCATED (08/13/16 @ 1:00 P.M.): Missing Hiker Gary Grine was located earlier today. Grine sustained minor injuries overnight in rugged terrain. At approximately 11:15 a.m. today, Grine was able to flag down a group of off-roaders, who called in Grine’s general location to Sheriff’s Dispatch. With the assistance of the off-roaders, Sheriff’s Aviation, and deputies and Search & Rescue members from the Big Bear Sheriff’s Station, Grine was escorted to a staging area where paramedics were waiting to treat his injuries. The Big Bear Sheriff’s Station thanks the public for sharing information that ultimately led to locating Gary Grine. Special thanks to the off-roaders for the assist!!
