The Board of Directors of the Big Bear Airport District meet for their monthly meeting at 2pm tomorrow, May 6. Wednesday afternoon’s meeting will include updates from General Manager Garry Dokter with regard to several improvements to the Big Bear Airport, including new helipads for use by emergency personnel, the replacement of taxiway pavement at the airport’s northeast corner, and the installation of a blast fence at the runway’s eastern-most end, as well as information on engineering contracts for future projects. Airport District Board meetings are held in the airport pilots lounge in Big Bear City and are open to the public.
