Big Bear’s world-class mountaineer, 13-year-old Jordan Romero, is just one international peak away from climbing Mt. Everest and will soon climb Mt. Vinson in Antarctica in his quest to conquer the Seven Summits of the world. In an effort to raise funds for these ambitious international expeditions, Romero and his climbing teammates will be hosting the Warren Miller film “Dynasty” in a special one-night-only screening in Big Bear Lake at the Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, December 2 at 7pm. Warren Miller’s “Dynasty,” narrated by Jonny Moseley, features extreme winter sports in breathtaking international settings, and is accompanied by a soundtrack that includes Incubus and Silversun Pickups. Tickets to next Wednesday’s screening of “Dynasty” to benefit Romero’s Seven Summits quest are available pre-sale at $10 each, and only from the Mountain Fitness Center located on Fox Farm Road in Big Bear Lake. Tickets will also be available at the door, for $15 each; doors at the PAC will open at 6pm for the 7pm “Dynasty” screening on the 2nd.
