Two-Vehicle Collision Results in Temporary Monday Morning Closure of Park Avenue

A two-vehicle collision just before 8am this morning (June 15) resulted in a temporary closure of Park Avenue, between Wren and Eureka, in Big Bear Lake. The Big Bear Lake and Big Bear City Fire Departments, as well as the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, responded to the the incident, in which bright sunlight may have been a contributing factor. One individual was transported to the hospital for observation, and the the Big Bear Sheriff’s Station is investigating the accident. Park Avenue has since been re-opened to traffic.
