The Board of Directors of the Big Bear Airport District will hold a special meeting this afternoon at 2pm, their first since last Wednesday’s closed session meeting, when it was determined that Airport General Manager Garry Dokter’s contract would not be renewed. Prior to meeting again in closed session this afternoon, to determine who will serve as interim general manager until a permanent selection is made, the Airport Board will make their choice for the LAFCO alternate board member position and discuss engineering contract services agreements. The open session portion of today’s meeting is open to the public, and will be held in the airport pilots lounge at the Big Bear City Airport.
