Taste of Big Bear a Success for MAT Candidate “El Zorro”

03/14/2011 By Cathy Herrick

Big Bear Lake, CA, March 14, 2011, 1:30pm – Multiple restaurants were showcased at Man About Town candidate Gus “El Zorro” Gonzales’ “Taste of Big Bear” event on Saturday night.  According to co-chair, Dottie Saville, “the evening was successful for all the participants as the restaurants did a fabulous job and the food was perfect”.  Thirteen local restaurants donated food to the sold out event and the crowd was given an example of the new workout craze, Zumba, by local gym, Body Tek.  “El Zorro’s” next event is this Thursday, March 17, for St. Patrick’s Day.  Enjoy lunch or dinner at the Hacienda Grille at 41787 Big Bear Blvd in Big Bear Lake and a portion of the entire day’s sales will benefit “El Zorro’s” campaign.  All funds raised from every Man About Town event will help support Soroptimist International of Big Bear Valley’s project to Stop Teen Violence which includes putting an end to bullying, sexting and more for youth in the Big Bear Valley.
