Swim Beach Opens May 29; Recreation and Park District’s New Offerings Include School of Rock

Big Bear Valley, CA — With the summer season soon upon us, the Big Bear Valley Recreation and Park District has a fresh slate of activities, including tennis lessons and dog obedience classes, as well as ongoing offerings including karate, kickboxing and art—and, new this year, Aaron Foor’s School of Rock, offered to teens on Tuesdays. Swim Beach also re-opens this month, as of May 29, and will be available for swimming on weekends through June 19, at which time it will be open Thursday through Monday, from noon to 5pm, until September.
