Big Bear, Ca, September 2, 2011, 12:00pm – Outdoor enthusiasts who have outgrown their gear, or no longer use it and would like to sell or trade their wares, can do so this Labor Day holiday weekend at the North Shore Trading Company in Fawnskin. The first ever Gear Swap is open to everyone, and is free to participate in. Bring a table or a blanket, set up gear you want to sell or trade, and check out what other people brought. This is a great chance for families to trade items their children have outgrown for gear they can fit into now or in the future. Or if you are looking to try out a new sport, you might be able to find some new gear as well. Interested parties can bring their gear to trade Saturday, Sunday or Monday from 9:00am to 5:00pm. For more information call 866-3414.
