All Shows start at 7 p.m., with doors open at 6 p.m. and tickets starting at $20. VIP tickets are also available for $30, which include a champagne toast, preshow entertainment and preferred seating.

The musical’s cast of local vocalists include Jessica Brasher, Kortney Carmody, Kylar Carmody, Vanessa Finney, Bryan Larson, Madison Laski, Zack Meyer, Ariel Moreno, Dakota Panczak and Tori Waner. “Inherit the Wind” stars Ken Carpenter, Richard Moll, Ariel Moreno and John Phane. “Inherit the Wind” is the dramatic telling of one of the most famous trials in American history. John Thomas Scopes” — known popularly and permanently as “The Monkey Trial.” Show dates are July 19, July 27 and August 1.

“The Lost Van Dusen Gold Mine” is believed to be a true story of a miner murdered for his rich ore. In the melodrama, Belle is about to lose her home unless she marries her landlord. Her fiancé Ben has lost both his mind, and more importantly, his mine! Audiences will sigh for the heroine, boo the villain and cheer the hero as he tries to remember the exact location of the trove of gold located somewhere between Big Bear and Holcomb valleys. This show runs July 20, July 25 and August 2.

The Bear Cave Events Center is at 40210 Big Bear Blvd. a half-mile west of the Village. For more information on the Summer Theater Festival, call (805) 807-9939 or send an email here.
