More Strong Winds Expected; Advisory in Place Until 10pm Friday

We can expect more strong, gusty north-to-northwest winds today, in both the mountains and nearby desert areas, as the National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning. This means that wind gusts up to 35 miles per hour are expected, which can make driving difficult for those in high profile vehicles. And, if traveling off the mountain this morning, visibility may be reduced as there is a Dense Fog Advisory in effect until 11am. As for the high winds, those can be expected to continue through 10pm tonight.
