Big Bear Lake, CA — The musical talents of local students, specifically the strings instrumentalists in the Bear Valley Unified and Steven G. Mihaylo music programs, will be performing solos, duets and trios on Sunday, April 25 and in the beautiful setting of Cedar Lake Camp. (Off Mill Creek Road, just west of the Alpine Slide. Cedar Lake: 866-5714) Strings Director Sharon Rizzo notes that the 28 students will share the music they have been working on “behind the scenes,” and performances will be from both beginners and advanced students, who will perform pieces from Vivaldi concertos, as well as Mozart. Rotary Club music competition winners will also perform in the Sunday concert, which begins at 4pm. Food and drinks are included in the $10 ticket price; tickets for children 12 and under are $5.
