The California Highway Patrol will be presenting a Start Smart class in Big Bear next week. Start Smart is a cooperative effort between the CHP, teenagers and guardians to help young drivers understand the responsibilities of driving an automobile. The leading cause of death for Americans between the ages of 15 and 20 is traffic accidents. The free class is set for April 27 in the MWD building at 40524 Lakeview Drive. An RSVP is required to telephone (909) 867-2791.
