The three awards, which will be distributed in May along with Soroptimists’ financial Women’s Opportunity and Violet Richardson awards, are as follows: The Women Helping Women Award is presented to those who have helped other women achieve their potential; the Women of Distinction Award recipients are considered ideal role models, exemplifying leadership, character and integrity; and the Advancing the Status of Women Award goes to a business or organization that has initiated, supported or advocated programs that advance the status of women.
