Here’s the view from Big Bear City in the noon hour or so. The white-out is such that you may not be able to see the snowplow on the runway. Note the berm outside the window of the Barnstorm Restaurant, where Jim and Arloa Gundred are enjoying a meal.

In her 20 years off the mountain, most recently in Manhattan Beach, Catherine's career has included publishing, broadcasting, public relations and public education; she served as KBHR's News Director from April 2007 to July 2010.
