If you need to gear up for the upcoming winter ski and board season, a “Ski Swap” will be held at Snow Summit on Saturday and Sunday, October 24th and 25th from 8am to 4pm.  If you have ski or snowboarding equipment or clothing you want to sell, the National Ski Patrol will sell them for you on consignment or items can be donated to the patrol.  All monies raised will go for the purchase and maintenance of radio equipment for Snow Summit and Bear Mountain’s National Ski Patrol.  The radios enable better response time and the urgent need for medical equipment to be brought to the scene of a serious accident.  Items for sale can be dropped off at the Snow Summit Ski Patrol room on October 23rd, Friday, in the afternoon or early Saturday morning on October 24th.  For more information call 866-5766.
