The Snow Summit Race Team is sending four young athletes to the Junior Olympics—which is the same number of J3 skiers who will represent Mammoth Mountain’s race team, which includes four times the athletes that race here in Big Bear. Those representing Snow Summit in the J3 competition, for skiers ages 13 and 14, are Caitlyn Bishop, Meghan DeRochers, Brianna Piper and Kelly Kai Tokunaga, for whom this will be his third consecutive Junior Olympics. The J3 Junior Olympics will be held in Brundage Mountain, Idaho on March 19-22.
