We can expect snow in September, as Bear Mountain Resort will have 110 tons of snow in The Park this Saturday for the sixth annual Hot Dawgz and Hand Rails event. The pro-invitational summertime rail jam will feature more than 40 pro riders, including Chris Bradshaw, Scott Vine, Zak Hale and Johnny Miller, in a full day of activities at Bear Mountain; other highlights will include vendor booth city, pro autograph signings, games and giveaways, and the Bear Mountain Pro Snowboard Team, including Joe Sexton, JP Walker, Seth Huot, Simon Chamberlain and Keegan Valaika, who will be judging the rail riding competition, scheduled to begin at 2pm on the 19th. Hot Dawgz and Hand Rails is free to the public and, after the sun goes down, two films will be screened: Stepchild/Thirty Two’s “This Video Sucks” and Bear Mountain’s “A Parkumentary.”
