Van Dusen Fire Contained

[UPDATED] - Big Bear City, CA, September 25, 2012, 7:45am  - The fire was 100% contained at about 7pm Monday, September 24,2012.

[ORIGINAL STORY] - Big Bear City, CA September 24, 2012, 3:45pm – Fire Crews are on the scene of a small vegetation fire that was reported this afternoon in the Van Dusen Canyon Road area, north west of the Big Bear City Airport. Most of the responding units were released by 3pm. The fire was last reported to be about two acres. Bob Poole of the US Forest Service says the fire was in heavy fuels as of 3pm and no smoke was visible. Some Firefighters will remain in the area overnight to monitor the incident.
