The 1.6 magnitude earthquake was recorded at 11:16am and, per the U.S. Geological Survey, registered a depth of over 19 miles. On Tuesday afternoon, just after 1:30pm, we had a 1.2 magnitude quake centered just south of Big Bear City—though, generally, we will just tell you about those tremors that register a 1.6 or greater on the Richter scale.
