The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department arrested a 16-year-old male for arson in Yucaipa yesterday afternoon, as he was seen leaving on his bike from the burn area of the Crafton Fire which, as of this morning, has burned 175 acres and is presently 60% contained. Though the Crafton Fire does not pose a threat to the Big Bear area, per CalFire official Bill Peters, and has not resulted in any major road closures, all day classes at Crafton Hills College have been canceled for today (Thursday).
