Single Vehicle Accident Claims Life of Peter Parks

Big Bear, Ca, July 29, 2011, 1:00pm - Yesterday, 62 year old Peter Michael Parks of Big Bear City was driving on Highway 18, the back grade near Camp Rock Road, when his vehicle veered to the left, causing the vehicle to leave the roadway, and stike a large tree.  Emergency services were called and a California Highway Patrol Aviation paramedic arrived at the scene and confirmed that Peter Parks had passed away due to the accident.  According to the coroners report, Parks was not wearing a seat belt.  The accident is under investigation.
