Sheriff’s Station Investigating Fraudulent Phone Solicitations for BBHS

sherifflogo-thumbThe Big Bear Sheriff’s Station is investigating fraudulent phone solicitations, as individuals within the Big Bear Valley have been called in recent days, being asked to make a contribution to Big Bear High School. Sheriff’s Deputy Lonnie Siebert tells KBHR, “Nobody is soliciting for Big Bear High School, so this is a scam.” That said, if you receive a phone call asking for a monetary donation to the high school, know that this is not legitimate. Questions or information regarding these phone solicitations can be directed to the Big Bear Sheriff’s Station at 866-0100.
