Sheriff’s Helicopters Looking for 12-Year-Old in Big Bear City (Update: Found, Playing in Forest)

sheriff-helicopter-thunbnailSan Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department helicopters are looking for a 12-year-old boy in Big Bear City [in the 4pm hour Thursday], who was separated from friends while playing in the Van Dusen Canyon area on the North Shore. Twelve-year-old Jacob Rodriguez has long hair, and is wearing a white shirt and black pants. Those with any information on his whereabouts are asked to call the Big Bear Sheriff’s Station at 866-0100.
Update: Per the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, Rodriguez was found within an hour or so, and was fine upon recovery; he was playing in the forest when found at about 5:15pm.
