Segway Tours Come To Big Bear

Big Bear, Ca, October 19, 2011, 3:00pm - There is a new tour business in town, and its opening its doors this weekend.  Action Segway Tours, which is connected with Action Zipline Tours will have its ribbon cutting and grand opening this weekend on Saturday, October 22nd.  The new tour company will allow people to experience Big Bear in a whole new way, while on a Segway.  Segway’s are electric personal transporters with two wheels that people stand on.  Tours are available for up to nine people, and will be on Segway X2 off road models, which will have larger tires.  Currently the company will offer tours on the Alpine Pedal path, and are looking at other options including tours through the village of Big Bear Lake.  The company has two certified tour guides, who have been trained by Segway.  The ribbon cutting will take place at 10:00am on Saturday, at their new office at 652 Pine Knot Ave in the Village.  For more information or to book a tour for this weekend, give them a call at 909 366-0890.
