Two More School Days for BVUSD Students; BBHS Graduation on Thursday Afternoon

schoolgeneric-thumb1In news from Bear Valley Unified School District, just two more school days until summer vacation! This evening (June 15), all Big Bear sixth grade students will celebrate their transition to Big Bear Middle School with the annual Sixth Grade Luau at Meadow Park. The event, for sixth graders only, is from 5:30 to 8pm, and sixth grade parent chaperones are welcomed. Both tomorrow and Wednesday, Big Bear High School students are on a minimum day schedule; school gets out at 12:15pm for BBHS students, to accommodate this week’s finals schedule. On Tuesday, Big Bear Middle School promotion for eighth grade students begins at 4pm. Chatauqua High School’s 32 seniors graduate in an 11am [updated] ceremony on Wednesday. Big Bear High School’s Class of 2009 graduates from the BBHS field on Thursday at 4pm.
