Big Bear, CA, February 7, 2013 – According to Walter Con of the Bear Valley Unified School District, school buses will not be transporting students home from school sites this afternoon. Parents are encouraged to pick up their students at school sites. Students will only be released to parents, guardians or authorized adults on record at the school site. Big Bear High School students who drive themselves to and from school will need to have their parent call the high school to allow dismissal of the student at 585-6892 or go to the school site to release the student. Students will be kept at all school sites until parents or guardians are able to retrieve them.
